About

LDS Business Conference
The purpose of the 2011 LDS Business Conference is three-fold:
  1. To learn from highly accredited speakers.
  2. To network with successful entrepreneurs and business executives from the U.S. and Canada.
  3. To unite efforts and resources to bless impoverished Latter-day Saints in developing countries through the efforts of Cause for Hope.
Since its start, the LDS Business Conference has served to bring together successful LDS entrepreneurs and business executives. The conference has also always served to benefit a cause.
In its beginning years, the conference was held in Laie, Hawaii, on the campus of Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Participants attended meaningful classes in business, leadership, religious and personal development. Proceeds from the event, along with additional donations, funded scholarships for students attending BYU-Hawaii.

In 2011, the conference will be held in Park City, Utah, at a beautiful resort—The Chateaux at Silver Lake. The resort will be reserved in its entirety for the conference, which will provide an ideal setting for mingling and networking with attendees and many of the speakers.

Cause for Hope

The Henández family were one of the many beneficiaries of Cause for Hope's services.

50% of your registration fee, as well as any additional donations, will benefit Cause for Hope directly and may be considered a tax deductible donation.

Ward/Stake: Las Flores Ward, Masaya Stake, Nicaragua.
Calling: My wife and I are ward missionaries, and I am a returned missionary.
Help received: We started a mini-market selling mostly grains. We were trained in the Small Business Program and received a micro loan from Cause For Hope.
Temporal Impact: We used to make $60 a month and we didn’t have savings. Now we make $375 a month and have $75 in savings. Now we feel that we will be able to offer a better life for our two sons.
